A ceramic coating is a hardened hydrophobic layer which is applied to clean, polished or corrected paintwork, wheels, glass, plastics etc to protect it from UV damage, bird poor and tree sap. It helps it by keeping the car cleaner for longer and prevents environmental factors from sticking to the paintwork like road grime. A ceramic coating is great because its hydrophobic, which means the water will bead instead of being flat, and this helps with what's stated above and helps washing the vehicle. Its easier to dry and after every wash, the results are like a polished finish every time! 

However, maintenance is important, A ceramic coating will only last to its full potential if its properly washed and maintained. Having a dirty vehicle for 6 months and taking it to cheap hand car washes will degrade the coating sooner. This is why we've set up our maintenance plan, not only to keep your car clean but to keep your ceramic coating healthy. 

Please note: If your vehicle is medium to heavy swirled and scratched, which is noticeable on colours like Black, then its highly advised you book in for a Single stage enhancement polish or 2 stage machine polish.
